Mattress-protection / Encasing

Our Bärenschlaf-International^® PROTECTION–CARE Programm includes: mattress-protection and encasing covers for mattresses, head pillows and blankets – as protection for allergic persons in bed.

In blankets, mattresses and pillows is often a high concentration of mites to be found because this climate is the optimal environment for mites. Good encasing acts as a barrier to reduce the effects allergies and causes that mite population be reduced in the mattresses. So the concentration of the mites can be greatly reduced.

Our modern mattress protector for professional equipment has nothing in common with mattress protectors like molton or rubber underlay. It is currently a two-component material (PU-coated fabric or knitted fabric), which would like to achieve water resistance, respiratory breathable comfort and skin-like effect at the same time. By washing in your own washing machine, you appreciate these benefits.

The use of encasing mattress protection covers that fulfill all requirements at the same time:

Elastic, tear- and stretch-resistant, impermeable to water (also urine, blood, grease and mite impermeable), but breathable through polyurethane coating ("water vapor permeability") and, above all, malty density. A cheap PVC coating does not match these requirements.
comfortable, reliable and hygienic at the same time: the mattress protector is mostly washable 95°C and can be used for tumbler dry. Only by the wash temperature of 95°C are reliable mite populations reduced. Of course, this requires regular washing
this ensures the required ease of maintenance.

In the fight against house dust allergy you need a mattress full protection, all around and with a special zipper worked, in order to reliably enclose the mites and thus prevent them from getting to the surface and driving there.

In hotel-buiz, hotels are also obliged to provide an appropriate encasing material, for hotel guests and allergic persons to match the current HOTELSTAR classification.

Our Protection Care program also includes mattress protectors, quilted underlays and mattress pads, which are not used for encasing.
